At the conference “Users of public funds – public procurement and control”, which brought together relevant representatives of institutions and experts, the participants had the opportunity to discuss key issues related to public procurement, their application and practice, as well as public-private partnership (PPP). and contributing to the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Miloš Knežević, executive director of the Institute for Economics and Law, presented his professional experience in relation to public procurement in the context of legislation and talked about its application in practice. The State Auditor General and President of the State Audit Institution, Dr. Duško Pejović, spoke about the role and importance of the State Audit Institution.
Hana Hukić, president of the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, held a presentation on the Commission’s work and practices, emphasizing the importance of protecting the rights of participants in public procurement procedures. Sandra Damčević and Ivana Đenić from the Office for Public Procurement spoke about the latest practices and challenges in the field of public procurement.
Obrad Tadić, director of PPP Investment, emphasized the importance of public-private partnership (PPP) as a model for achieving sustainable development goals, with special reference to its long-term sustainability.
